Texture, color and layers filled with depth blend in a 24" x 30" acrylic painting titled "The Origin Of The Species", original and one of a kind painted in the New Mexico studio of contemporary artist Thomas Hill. This painting was a labor of love with seemingly endless layers adding to the complexity and richness of the image. It needs to be seen in person to appreciate the fullness of its execution, composition and color.
It is hand-signed and dated both on the front and the back. High quality acrylic paints used on a 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped quality 10 ounce thick cotton duck canvas. Stretched on a strong wooden frame, this gallery wrapped canvas is splined and stapled on the back and painted on all sides to reveal a wraparound painting that does not need a frame.
It is ready to hang unframed and comes with all hanging hardware attached. It is archival and will last for decades to come.
This artwork would make a wonderful addition to your home, your office, or even as a gift.
