New Mexico Art Original Painting , 20"x20"

A 20" x 20"" square acrylic painting titled "An Opening", original, colorful and one of a kind painted in the New Mexico studio of contemporary artist Thomas Hill. This painting is heavily textured with fluid acrylics; the texture at interplay using beautiful colors of orange, red, green and yellow, both muted and vibrant hues.

The artwork is a vibrant abstract painting featuring an array of vivid colors with a dominance of yellow, orange, and green tones, which create a warm and energetic backdrop. The central region emits radiance with the use of bright yellow and orange, suggesting a sense of light or heat, where splashes of red and dark blotches intermingle, adding depth and contrast. The perimeter of the composition is densely populated with textured elements and organic shapes, reminiscent of vegetation or natural forms, predominantly in green and purplish hues, with hints of white adding highlights. The overall image has a dynamic and somewhat chaotic feel, with no clearly defined objects or figures, inviting viewers to engage their imagination and interpret the visual language of the painting.

It is hand-signed and dated both on the front and the back. High quality acrylic paints used on a 7/8" gallery wrapped quality 10 ounce thick cotton duck canvas. Stretched on a strong wooden frame, this gallery wrapped canvas is splined and stapled on the back and painted on all sides to reveal a wraparound painting that requires no additional framing.

It is ready to hang unframed and comes with all hanging hardware attached. This archival painting will last for decades to come.

This would make a perfect gift for your home, business or for that special someone.
