A 20" x 20"" square acrylic painting titled "Listening To Bevis Frond", original, colorful and one of a kind painted in the New Mexico studio of contemporary artist Thomas Hill. This painting is heavily textured with a circle motif; the texture at interplay using beautiful colors of orange, red, green and yellow, both muted and vibrant hues. Some subtle accents of metallics highlight the central image.
The artwork is an abstract painting with a dominant circular motif at the center, featuring a mélange of vibrant colors. The circle is a gradient of luminous yellow and green hues at the core, bordered by an irregular pink and purple area that has splatters and blotches, creating an impression of dynamic movement or transformation. Surrounding the central figure, the background exhibits a warm, glowing field of orange and yellow, with textures and streaks of green and blue, adding depth and complexity to the composition. The use of color and texture seems deliberate and creates an energetic and engaging visual experience. The overall effect is one of warmth and radiance, evoking the energy of a sun or an otherworldly object.
It is hand-signed and dated both on the front and the back. High quality acrylic paints used on a 7/8" gallery wrapped quality 10 ounce thick cotton duck canvas. Stretched on a strong wooden frame, this gallery wrapped canvas is splined and stapled on the back and painted on all sides to reveal a wraparound painting that requires no additional framing.
It is ready to hang unframed and comes with all hanging hardware attached. This archival painting will last for decades to come.
This would make a perfect gift for your home, business or for that special someone.
