New Mexico Abstract Acrylic Painting, Original Art on Canvas

Titled "Turn Off The Lights When You Leave The Country", this colorful, abstract artwork is a 30" x 40" horizontal acrylic painting, original and one of a kind painted in the New Mexico studio of contemporary artist Thomas Hill. It is hand-signed and dated both on the front and the back.

The artwork is a colorful abstract painting that uses a blend of vibrant hues to create an expressive composition. Dominated by a central area with cool tones of blue and green, the piece is surrounded by a fiery border of orange and yellow, suggesting a sensation of heat or a glowing aura. Dark, suggestive lines and shapes within the central cooler colors hint at forms or structures but retain their ambiguity. The work invites viewers to interpret the images and forms through their own imagination, evoking different feelings and thoughts in each individual observer. Splashes and specks of white and lighter colors add a dynamic element to the piece, reminiscent of stars in a night sky or droplets of water, contributing to the painting’s lively and dreamlike quality.

High quality acrylic paints are used on a 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped, quality 10 ounce thick cotton duck canvas. Stretched on a reinforced wooden frame, this gallery wrapped canvas is splined and stapled on the back and painted on all sides to reveal a wraparound painting that requires no framing.

Ready to hang unframed and coming with all hanging hardware attached, it is archival, permanent, will last for decades and is an exceptional value for an original art piece.

This original artwork would make a spectacular addition to your home or business, and also makes a great gift.
