Abstract Acrylic Painting, One-Of-A-Kind

Based on a dream I had about incorporating an actual sock into the design, a 24" x 36" acrylic painting titled "Where Do I Put The Sock", original and one of a kind painted in the New Mexico studio of Thomas Hill.

This abstract expressionist painting radiates energy, movement, and intensity through a vivid interplay of color and gesture. Sweeping passages of fiery reds, oranges, and luminous yellows surge across the canvas, creating the impression of heat, light, and motion. Layers of translucent and opaque paint overlap in a dynamic composition that feels both spontaneous and carefully orchestrated.

At the center, broad strokes of cream, white, and pale gold form a visual anchor, interrupted by looping yellow lines that dance across the surface like sparks or calligraphic marks. It is hand-signed and dated both on the front and the back. High quality acrylic paints used on a 1 1/2" gallery wrapped quality 10 ounce thick cotton duck canvas. Stretched on a strong wooden frame, this gallery wrapped canvas is stapled on the back and painted on all sides to reveal a wraparound painting. It is ready to hang unframed and comes with all hanging hardware attached. It is archival and will last for decades to come.
